## Heritage

The Ontologi archive spans three generations of American visual art, design, and invention, rooted in an Italian lineage tracing to 1398.

- Alfred F. Muscari (1903–1993): Industrial designer and painter. Art Director at AT&T — co-designed the American telephone booth (US Design Patent 197,963, 1964), created the illuminated dial for the Princess phone, contributed to the AT&T Pavilion at the 1964 World's Fair. Member of the Salmagundi Club. Life Member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
- Matthew Muscari (1946–2019): Printmaker, photographer, educator. BFA from NYIT, MFA from Pratt Institute. Exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, Ward-Nasse Gallery. Purchased by the United States Information Agency for international exhibition. Taught art in New Jersey for over two decades.
